NUNS condemns attack on “Kurir” journalist team

Belgrade, May 13, 2011 (Politika) - The Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia (NUNS) strongly condemned the attack on journalist team of the daily "Kurir" and urged police and judicial authority to punish the attacker.

NUNS published the statement of the said daily, according to which the journalist Ivona Palada, in her fifth month of pregnancy, and photographer Damir Dervisagic had been physically attacked on Wednesday around 7 p.m. while on assignment in Srbobranska Street in Belgrade suburb Ledine. Police patrol arrived at the scene soon and determined the identity of attacker.
