State's withdrawal from the ownership in the media

Belgrade, August 12, 2011 (Blic) - The vice-president of the Democratic Party (DS) Jelena Trivan said yesterday that her party supported the principle of state's withdrawal from ownership in the media and that she expected that issue of ownership should have been precisely defined by the Media Strategy.

As for DS, state's withdrawal is absolutely indisputable. It represents a European standard which we strive to achieve and we do not have a problem with that - Trivan said. DS expects that the Media Strategy will define precisely the issue of ownership.
