Assault on “Danas” journalist

Belgrade, October 20, 2011. (Danas) - E-newspaper "Sandzak pres" close to the head of the Islamic community in Serbia, Muamer Zukorlic, accused Sladjana Novosel, the "Danas" correspondent from Novi Pazar, of participating in forming "the phantom organization Sandzak Resistance". In the text published on this portal, it is said that it is known "from well informed sources" that "two NGOs from Novi Pazar governed by women participated in establishing this organization".

As it is said in this text, among the founders are an OSCE female official, certain Belgrade-based instances, several ecological activists and Rasim Ljajic's supporters as well as Sladjana Novosel.

"The same people have had a coordinated training in Kopaonik, received substantial financial resources and all logistics. Sladjana Novosel was the first who published the statement of the pamphlet Resistance that surprised the Sandzak and Serbian public to a certain extent. As the Resistance project failed to succeed, this person has continued to reckon with the Islamic community through perfidious texts on restoration of unity of the Islam community and attempts of creating new confusions", it was said it the text of "Sandzak Pres".
