JOVO CURUVIJA: PEOPLE LIKE CVIJAN KILLED MY BROTHER
Belgrade, May 20, 2013 (Nase novine) - Jovo Curuvija, brother of owner and editor of "Dnevni telegraf" and weekly "European" Slavko Curuvija, brutally murdered in 1999 in front of his apartment building and whose assassins have never been found, says that Cvijan should have been arrested for hate speech and calling on lynch of journalist and editor of "Nase novine".
"When I saw Cvijan's appearance on national TV, the first thing that had come to mind was my brother Slavko and what had happened to him. The state must respond to Cvijan's behavior. Failing to respond in such situations have led to my brother's killing, otherwise, he would be still alive. I call on all journalists to unite and gather in front of the Serbian Parliament to stop Vladimir Cvijan from entering the building ever again. Journalists must understand that they need to stand in their own defense as the government is doing nothing else but ensuring their profitable positions", Jovo Curuvija said.
