Dacic confers with All-China Journalists Association

Belgrade, 24.10.2014 (Tanjug) - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic conferred with a delegation of the All-China Journalists Association which comprises officials of leading Chinese media groups from various provinces headed by Hebei Daily Group President Guo Jinping.

During the talks, Dacic underscored the traditionally good and friendly ties between the two countries and expressed gratitude to the People's Republic of China for its principled stand on the issue of Serbia's territorial integrity, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released.

During the talks, the officials expressed the hope that the forthcoming summit of the Chinese prime minister and prime ministers of 16 countries from central and eastern Europe, due in Belgrade in December, would create a favourable climate for improvement of Serbia-China relations on all levels.

Commending Chinese media on their continuous and objective reports on Serbia, Dacic agreed with representatives of the All-China Journalists Association that bilateral cooperation needs to intensify in the domain of culture and the media so as to reach the level of the two countries' general relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in its release.
