Attack on „Blic” journalist
Belgrade, 01.10.2010. (Dnevnik) - Journalists' associations NUNS (IJAS) and UNS (JAS) strongly condemned the physical assault on Blic newspaper correspondent Gvozden Zdravic.
They said they expected Mileta Dzopalic, who had physically abused Zdravic, to be urgently brought to court and processed accordingly.
Violence against journalists in Serbia takes hold again and lenient sentences greatly contribute to it. Physical assaults could not be qualified as mere delicts but as a felony, it is said in the statements.
