STATE MEDIA CULTURAL EDITOR SUSPENDED

BELGRADE, May 23, 2002 - The editor-in-chief o the Radio Television Serbia's culture and entertainment division, Ivona Zivkovic, has been suspended from her position on suspicion of damaging the reputation of the state media by committing the crime of libel. The suspension was ordered by Radio Television Serbia general director Aleksandar Crkvenjakov after the publication of the article "Parallel Worlds of Change in Radio Television Serbia" by Glas javnosti.
