MARSICANIN CLAIM DJINDJIC PARTY CONTROLS MEDIA
BANJA LUKA, June 4,2002 – The deputy leader of Vojislav Kostunica's Demcoratic Party of Serbia has told media in Banjaluka that Serbia is governed by an authoritarian regime closely resembling that of Slobodan Milosevic. Dragan Marsicanin commented that media are being subjected to strong pressure, including threats and blackmail by a special team of people set up within the Democratic Party for that purpose. The leader of the Democratic Party is Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic.
