FORMER PM TO SUE JOURNALIST

BELGRADE, June 5, 2002 – Former Serbian prime minister and general director of the company Progres, Mirko Marjanovic, said yesterday that he would file libel charges against journalist Jovan Dulovic. Marjanovic alleges that Dulovic seriously insulted him in the program “Utisak nedelje” (Impression of the Week) on Studio B Television on Sunday night, with the intention of discrediting him. Dulovic today said he could not comment until he had seen the charge.
