DANAS CRITICISED
BELGRADE, June 6, 2002 – “Reports of personnel changes in the Socialist Party of Serbia leadership are mere fabrication, just one in a series of lies being spread through certain media in an attempt to cause damage to the largest opposition party,” wrote the Socialists’ Central Committee yesterday in a letter to the editor of Danas. The committee added that it hoped people would correctly interpret the daily’s servile behaviour towards the political centre of power.
