LIBEL CHARGES

KLADOVO, June 7, 2002 – The Kladovo branch of the Otpor movement has responded strongly to the trial of local journalists Slobodan Stankovic. Stankovic was sued for libel by the former director of the Djerdap company and the former head of the Bor district, Milivoje Ilic. The charges were filed over articles published in daily Politika.
