NEW DEMOCRACY STALLS BROADCASTING ACT

BELGRADE, June 10, 2002 - The New Democracy party has said it will not vote to adopt the draft broadcasting act during today's session of parliament. Party spokeswoman Dragana Jovanovic said the law had serious flaws and that New Democracy would ask that the government pull it from the parliamentary agenda.
