Belgrade Daily Danas Fined

BELGRADE, August 6, 2002 - Belgrade daily Danas and its editor in chief, Grujica Spasovic, have been fined 150,000 dinars each based on charges brought by former Yugoslav president Dobrica Cosic. Cosic sued the daily over an article published last year accusing him of ordering the bombing of Vukovar in 1991.
