Protest Over Montenegrin Media Repression

The New York-based International Committee for the Protection of Journalists has announced an official protest against diminishing media freedom in Montenegro. A representative of the international watchdog described the adoption of new media legislation in Yugoslavia's tiny southern republic as a move away from the generally accepted principles of the right of free expression.
