Better TV signal
GNJILANE, August 29, 2002 – For three years now Serbs living in the region of Kosovsko Pomoravlje have been unable to watch the state television channels. The problem has been resolved by installing a stronger transmitter of the “Children’s television” from the village of Silovo which broadcasts programs for children but also news. Thanks to the Coordination Center for Kosovo, 18,000 euros has been earmarked for the new, stronger transmitter. "Thanks to this help, but also thanks to the assistance of international organizations we now see much better and can be seen much better. The other Serbs are hungry for information both from their region but also from Serbia”, said the editor in chief of the private Serb children’s television Aleksandar Aleksic.
