UNEM Terminates Boycott

PODGORICA, October 15, 2002 - UNEM has ended the action of everyday half hour boycott of radio and television program, members of the association, assessing it as successful. UNEM coordinator Ranko Vujovic told the press that the campaign was a success and that it achieved full unity, because the program was blacked out every day by all members of the association except Radio Free Montenegro. The campaign was launched after the Montenegrin Parliament adopted the law on media in September and at the same time decided to delay its implementation till May next year.
