Seselj Trial Adjourned

BELGRADE, November 14, 2002 – Libel proceedings by Danas editor Grujica Spasovic against Radical Party leader Vojislav Seselj were adjourned yesterday after the defendant failed to appear in court. Spasovic is seeking compensation for emotional damages resulting from an interview by Seselj in weekly Svedok in which he described Danas as “pure American media, edited by the CIA”.
