Montenegrin Media Legislation Amended

PODGORICA, November 13, 2002 – The Montenegrin Parliament yesterday brought forward the date on which its new media legislation comes into effect. The legislation, originally planned to take effect in May next year will now be implemented immediately. The Parliament also adopted amendments to media legislation which pave the way for Radio Television Montenegro to be transformed into a public service.
