Podgorica Editor Jailed

PODGORICA, November 20, 2002 – The former editor-in-chief of Podgorica daily Dan, has been sentenced to a month in prison. Asanin was convicted for reprinting articles from Zagreb’s Nacional claiming the involvement of political figures in cigarette smuggling.
