Media Bill Debate at Next Parliament Sitting

BELGRADE, December 11, 2002 – Draft legislation on telecommunications should be debated at the next sitting of the Serbian Parliament, the head of the Culture and Information Committee, Ivan Andric, said today. The Parliament yesterday voted the bill off the day’s agenda. Once the Telecommunications Bill is adopted, it will be possible to amend the new Broadcast Act to invite tenders for the long-overdue allocation of frequencies
