Journalists’ Day in Montenegro

PODGORICA, January 24, 2003 – The Association of Montenegrin Journalists yesterday presented its traditional Journalists’ Day awards, which commemorate the first issue of the daily Crnogorac, published on January 23, 1871. The life achievement went to Radio Montenegro journalist Mihailo Miljanic, with the first annual award to Pobjeda journalist Gojko Knezevic. Runners up were Blic editor Zdravko Gavrilovic in second place with Radio Montenegro journalists Dragan Arolic and Dan’s Veselin Lazarevic sharing third place.
