Broadcast Council chairman snubs TV B92

BELGRADE, June 9, 2003 (B92) – Two members of Serbia’s new Broadcast Agency Council, including Chairman Nenad Cekic, refused yesterday to appear the TV B92 program Utisak nedelje (Impression of the Week) last night. Cekic, who was elected chairman of the Council at its founding session last week, and Vladimir Cvetkovic said, refusing the invitation, that they wished never to visit TV B92. Other guests on the program included Snjezana Milivojevic, a former member of the Council who resigned her seat in protest at the blatant breaches of legal regulations in appointing Cekic and Cvetkovic to the Council.
