TV Nemanja owner burns equipment in protest

BELGRADE, 5 June, 2003 -- Radisa Milosavljevic, Owner and director of Cuprija-based company Television Nemanja, has burnt half of his company’s television equipment in front of the former Federal Government building. The act of protest relates to the fact that the courts have still not given a ruling three years after this television company’s broadcasting equipment was seized. The Independent Association of Serbian Journalists confirmed that TV Nemanja has not been in operation since the seizure.
