Studio B won't comment before management board session

BELGRADE, 5 June, 2003 -- The Beta news agency has confirmed that Jovan Arezina, Studio B's director-general, suspended chief editor Dragana Milicevic and her deputy Tatjana Vidojevic, as well as the info office editor Aleksandar Vasic, two days ago. Arezina invoked the Labour Act and said that the suspended editors had “caused damages” to this media company, by being responsible for the “Television’s disastrous ratings”. Speaking to daily Danas, Jovan Arezina said that an agreement had been reached within the company to say nothing about the dismissals until the Management Board session due to be held next week. Arezina also said that he has issued no media statements pertaining to this matter.
