Association of journalists expects criminal charges
NOVI SAD, 2 June, 2003 – Petar Petrovic, President of the Independent Association of Vojvodina Journalists, has said that he expects the police to file criminal charges against New Serbia leader Velimir Ilic over the assault of journalist Vladimir Jesic. Petrovic said: "We will insist that the police bodies do their job and then file criminal charges against Ilic, because there is a video recording showing how he assaulted Jesic".
