Danas present awards on sixth anniversary
BELGRADE, 10 June, 2003 – Milo Vasic, journalist of Belgrade daily Danas, said yesterday at the celebration of the publication’s sixth anniversary: “As long as we right the truth and can back it with documents…we are untouchable, no one can harm us”. Vasic is this year’s winner of the "Stanislav - Stasa Marinkoviæ" award for journalistic courage, persistence in research work and high professionalism of media presentation. Vreme journalist Dejan Anastasijevic has also been awarded the “Stanislav - Stasa Marinkovic award”. Danas’ “Nikola Burzan” annual award was awarded to Danas Kragujevac correspondent Zoran Radovanovic.
