NUNS apologize to Vodinelic

BELGRADE, June 19, 2003 – The Association of Serbian Journalists (NUNS) sent an apology on Wednesday to outgoing Broadcast Council member Vladimir Vodinelic for its earlier claim that he had covered up the fact that his daughter is employed in Radio Television Serbia, which has since been proven untrue. NUNS said that it based its claim on Vodinelic’s biography, which was publicly available via the Serbian Parliament's web site. They did not call on Otpor’s proposal that Vodilenic be appointed a Broadcast Council member, which contained this information.
