Journalist detained over "mysterious murder"

BELGRADE, 26 June, 2003 -- Tijana Veselinovic, journalist of EuroBlic, was taken in for questioning by local police at around 10am yesterday morning over an article entitled "Mysterious murder". Police demanded Veselinovic reveal her source for the article. After she refused, police turned to the paper's director Zoran Bajic and editor Milan Ljepojevic. Blic chief editor Veselin Simonovi was soon informed and Tijana Veselinovic was released after a 20 minute interrogation at a police station.
