Serbian broadcaster complains to Holkeri

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA, October 9, 2003 – Zvecan’s TV Most on Wednesdy wrote to UN governor Harri Holkeri complaining of constant neglect from the UNMIK press office. The letter was prompted by Hokeri’s address to the Kosovo public “which Albanian-language televisision stations had the privilege to broadcast, but not a single Serbian-language stations,” wrote TV Most. Such ommissions had happened in the past, said that letter, adding that repeated neglect and failure to inform people about events and the refusal to issue accreditation or provide escorts indicated that this was deliberate discrimination against Serbian journalists.
