Case against CNN and Pink begins

BELGRADE, October 30, 2003 – A Belgrade court has begun hearing charges against broadcasters CNN and Pink, brought by journalist Ivan Galebovic. Galebovic claims that both networks illegally broadcast an interview he conducted with the then Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica on October 5, 2000. Court consultant Miroljub Radojkovic, who teaches in the political science faculty of Belgrade University failed to attend the court. Galubovic told the court that, in his evaluation of the case, Radojkovic deals with copyrights rather than abuse of his interview.
