Ubpok in Balkan offices

BELGRADE, October 29, 2003 – UBPOK officers have seized copies of an article on Miladin Suvajdzic from the offices of Belgrade daily Balkan. The paper’s editor was shown a note from an investigating judge which asked that the daily “refrain from publishing” Suvajdzic’s material. However, the judge declined to issue a formal ban, say the paper’s staff, leaving them with no sense of obligation to “refrain”.
