Belgrade police file charges

BELGRADE, December 5, 2003 – The Belgrade police department has filed charges against newspaper Internacional and journalist Milovan Brkic over articles published on November 25 and 27. Brkic is being sued for slander, over an article headlined “Visnja behind the wall”, as well as a series of articles published earlier about the Belgrade police chiefs and certain inspectors.
