Borba director hits back
BELGRADE, December 4, 2003 – Borba Company director Zoran Kalicanin announced today he is to sue the director of the Novosti Company, Manojlo Vukotic. “Despite the provisions of the Public Information Act, Vecernje Novosti failed to publish within the given deadline Zoran Kalicanin’s response to Manojlo Vukotic’s lies and insinuations made in the article “Orlic and his state pests”,” said a statement from Kalicanin’s lawyer. It added that Kalicanin will request that Novosti publish his response and compensate him for “slander and lies”.
