Financiers abandoned Marka

BELGRADE, December 10, 2003 – Marka is no longer being published after its financiers pulled out, the paper’s editor in chief, Milan Becejic, said yesterday. Becejic claimed that the financiers – Kapital bank owner Djordje Nicovic and MB bank owner Dragan Nikolic – have refused to pay the money owed to Marka.
