“Atheist” Newsletter Appears In Novi Sad

NOVI SAD, April 2, 2004 – Copies of the “Atheist” newsletter have appeared in Novi Sad, containing texts arguing against the Serbian Orthodox Church and other religions. Among its editorial team, the newsletter names Gojko Stojcevic (Patriarch Pavle) and Risto Radovic (Bishop Amfilohije), reports B92 correspondent Dragan Gmizic. The newsletter, which fails to name its publishers or journalists, strongly criticises members of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the church in general as an institution.
