New Government, New Media Bureau

BELGRADE, March 9, 2004 – The Serbian government’s Communications Bureau has been transformed into a 24-hour Office for Media Relations. It will be headed by Srdjan Djuric, a former correspondent, editor and public relations manager. Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica has said the government will be open to the media, though the office has insisted that journalists first send a list of questions.
