Municipal Heads Cancel Dnevnik Subscription
BACKA PALANKA, March 4, 2004 – The Backa Palanka municipality has cancelled its subscription to Dnevnik, clearly dissatisfied with the reports on the 100 percent pay rise for officials, trips abroad, etc. The municipal leaders sent a message to the employees saying: “It’s not recommended you be seen with a copy of Dnevnik in your hands.”
