Hunger strike over TV Smederevo
SMEDEREVO, May 20, 2004 – Members of the Commission for appointing a new acting director for the public company TV Smederevo, named by the Municipality of Smederevo, have begun a hunger strike. Those involved are the president of the Executive Board of the Municipality, Dobrica Jovanovic, Board Vice President Gordana Visnjevac, and Board member Zoran Matic. The strike is aimed at resolving the problem of the acting director's replacement and the general situation in the company.
