KOJADINOVIC: RTS PUBLIC SERVICE AS OF APRIL 30

BELGRADE, March 10, 2006 – Serbian Culture and Media Minister Dragan Kojadinovic said last night that Radio Television Serbia (RTS) would become a public service broadcaster by April 30. Kojadinovic said his recent visit to RTS was the last time some state official visited the future public service. Culture Minister also said that the state will amortize 27 million dinars of the total 55 million of debt, following the example of other countries in the region where the state television stations had been transformed into a public service.
