TV DIRECTOR KILLED IN BAGHDAD

BAGHDAD, March 11, 2006 – The Iraqi state television Al-Iraqiya director Amjad Hameed Hassan was killed by unidentified persons. As stated in reports of the television sources and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Iraq, Amjad Hameed Hassan was shot dead in his car on his way to work. Al-Iraqiya issued a statement saying that Hassan was murdered by the members of a terrorist organisation, but failed to provide any details.
