SERBIAN JOURNALISTS IN KOSOVO

BELGRADE, June 26,2006 (Beta) - A group of Serbian journalists will be meeting with Kosovo Government officials today. The journalists are scheduled to meet with President Fatmir Sejdiu and Prime Minister Agim Ceku, as well as other officials from Priština. The visit was organised by the Youth Initiative for Human Rights from Belgrade and Priština, and is part of a cooperative program between journalists from Kosovo and Serbia. During their stay in Kosovo, the journalists will also meet with members of the Kosovo status delegation and President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Hasim Thaci. There will also be meetings with the representatives of various journalist organisations, a visit to the Kohavision television station, the Serbian-language weekly Građanski Glasnik, and the Association of the Professional Journalists of Kosovo.
