PEŠČANIK RADIO SHOW AWARDED IN AUSTRIA

VIENNA, BELGRADE, March 7, 2007 (B92) - Peščanik has won the Reporters Without Borders Austria-sponsored Press Freedom Award 2006.

Monica Negler-Vitgenstein, President of the Journalists in Conviction (Stockholm) and the member of the jury, nominated the investigative program Peščanik for the award.
 
The official award ceremony will be held in the Vienna City Hall on May 9.

Peščanik is an independent production aired Fridays at 9:30 a.m. and Saturdays 3:30 p.m on B92 Radio.
