INTERNET ONLY WITH FULL IDENTITY

Moscow, 8.8.2014 (FoNet) - Russian prime minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed an order prohibiting anonymous access to Wi-Fi in public places - in restaurants, metro, parks and other places offering Wi-Fi connection, reports Itar-Tass.


The document envisages responsibility of communication operators for user identification. Internet access will only be available after registration, where users have to provide their full names, confirmed by an ID.

Hardware must be identified also.
