SOLUTION FOR LOCAL MEDIA SOON
Belgrade, June 16, 2010 (Pravda) - The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Public Administration and Self-Government have supported the initiative of three media associations to furnish recommendations on methods and criteria of allocation of funds from local budgets to local media. Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia (IJAS/NUNS), Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) and "Local press" will prepare, as soon as possible, recommendations with criteria for distributing funds. The aforementioned two ministries and the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities will forward these recommendations to local governments.
