PUBLIC DEBATE ON MEDIA STUDY NEXT WEEK

Belgrade, August 27, 2010 (Danas) - Public debate on Media Study, which is the basis for determing of the Media Strategy, will begin next week and will run in September, the Serbian Ministry of Culture announced to the Beta news agency.

The Assistant Culture Minister in charge of media Natasa Vuckovic-Lesendric invited all interested media, organizations and individuals to submit comments on the recommendations from the Study, which essentially offer solutions for transformation of the media scene in Serbia.

- The Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with OSCE Serbia, will organize, with funds provided by the British Embassy, six round tables from September 2 to October 4, 2010, on topics that were emphasized in the Media Study as important - said Vuckovic-Lesendric.
