More money, less criticism

Belgrade, October 3, 2011. (Danas) - According to the data of the Anti-Corruption Council, the funds allocated for advertisement in the media by state institutions is not less than 15 million EUR at annual level. When we add the amount which is officially allocated for the media, we come to the amount of 40 million EUR for the media from the state budget. That means that one fourth of the total advertizing income of the media comes from the state institutions. These data are provided in the Report on pressures on control over the media in Serbia issued by the Anti-Corruption Council.
