POSSIBLE SHUTDOWN OF TV MOST

Belgrade, April 26, 2013 (Blic) - the Serbian Government will consider to stop financing TV Most from Kosovska Mitrovica within the next few months.

The reason for this is alleged discontent with the reporting of this TV station - biased and contradictory to official politics of Belgrade.

This TVhas aired for weeks only statements of the MP from DSS Marko Jaksic and president of SNV of Northern Kosovo and Metohija Milan Ivanovic. The source of the daily Blic says the station's reporting was nothing more but insulting and threatening conveyed by the TV supported by the state budget funds.

The station, which operates within the public company "Mreza Most", is allocated 156 million dinars yearly, which is about 1.4 million Euros. The station employs 150 members of staff.
