MATIC: JOVICA STANISIC TO BE QUESTIONED

Belgrade, June 10, 2013 (Danas) - The Commission for investigating the killings of the journalists will call the former head of the State Security Agency Jovica Stanisic for questioning, believing that his time with the Agency may clear out different methods used in murders of journalists, President of the Commission and Chief Editor of RTV B92 Veran Matic told the daily Danas.

Matic says the resolving of murders of Milan Panic has for the first time engaged the experts from the Security Intelligence Agency (BIA) in addition to the members of the police officers of the Criminal Investigation Police Department.

"The activities pertaining to the ballistic expertise of the material traces gathered in 2001 are being performed, by using new advanced scientific method, including DNA analysis", Matic said, adding that the Commission has cooperated with the High Public Prosecution in Jagodina and High Court in Jagodina in the work on this case.
