INDICTED FOR THREATS AGAINST JOURNALIST

Niš, August 23, 2013 (Juzne vesti) - Basic Public Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against the director of Nis Heating Plant, Milutin Ilic and two others for threatening the editor of the portal Juzne vesti.

According to the indictment, which was handed over to the Court on  August 9, Ilic, Dobrivoje Stanimirović and Mija Jankovic were "premeditated and mentally capable" during the telephone conversations with Blagojevic when they made a series of threats.

All three were charged with "endangering the safety of the person who performs the tasks of public interest in the field of information related to the tasks they perform," for which a prison sentence is from 6 months to 5 years.
