OVER 200 PARTICIPANTS IN MEDIA SUMMIT

Belgrade, November 11, 2013 (Danas) - The Fifth Media Summit "New Media Revolution", organized by ABC Serbia, gathered more than 200 leading domestic and international experts from media advertising industry. The event was dedicated to the future of media, new publishing and advertising platforms, as well as new communication channels, ethics in new media, future projections of advertising funds as well as the transparency as a long-standing strategy of sustainable operations of media.
 
According to the estimation of the Director General of the European Association of Communications Agencies, in 2013, the global costs of advertising will go over 485 billion dollars.
 
At the third panel debate, called "Journalists' ethics in new media" the participants reflected the problems that were created by new technologies in the media sphere, as well as which amendments to the journalists' code should see.
